The 2024 New Bedford Christmas Bird Count was Saturday, December 14, 2024. 

Birders of all experience levels are encouraged to participate in the Christmas Bird Count.

The Nasketucket Bird Club works in conjunction with the Paskamansett Bird Club. The club manages 7-8 territories, and each has a captain.  Particpants count from a couple hours to all day. New participants and captains are welcome.  In addition, anyone living within the New Bedford count circle can count birds from their own home.
